How to paste vinyl decals on car

Step 1 - Clean the car body where vinyl sticker needs to be applied. Cleaning my mere wet cloth or jet wash is not enough. You should ensure that is cleaned well with the help of wax or clay bar. Step 2 - Roughly cut the vinyl to the size of the application. Peel off the backing of the vinyl and place it on the panel where it needs to be pasted.

Step 3 - Minimum 2 professional are needed to get the job done. Lift the sticker and get it one side down by one person stretching the vinyl and other pasting it with the help of heat gun. It is important to use heat gun instead of torch as torch applies more heat which can damage sticker permanently. Heat gun should also be used sparsely.

Step 4 - At the time of pasting it is important to take care that no bubble are formed, in case of bubble formation, do the complete exercise once again, remove vinyl and do pasting. Do not try to puncture the bubble. Make habit of 1 person stretching the vinyl and other heating and smoothing.

Step 5 - For difficult areas heat the vinyl and stretch it over. Now cut around the edge of the panel and fold it under the panel of the car. It is advisable to take care of the complex areas like rear mirror, door handles, etc. For full car wrap it is always better to give yourself sufficient time and not to rush the job. Full car wrap can take 2-3 working days for professional workmen.
